Making ghosts for Halloween is actually inexpensive and easy. To start with just open white plastic garbage bags with wadded up newspaper stuffed in the head area and then secure it with a rubber band for the neck. Now you have to draw a face on the ghost head with a black marker and just hang those ghosts from trees or anywhere else you want to spook up. A plus point about these plastic ghosts are that they are completely water proof. The other option to save money on Halloween is to pick white sheets at garage sales and turn them into ghosts.
Scarecrow Style
If you want to create a scarecrow on this Halloween then it is actually quite easy to save money.All you need to do is target garage sales and pick up ratty jeans, plaid shirts, hats, mittens etc. If finding straw is a challenge then you can use wadded newspaper to stuff the clothes.
